Anthony Rodriguez is a 2025 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-7 140 lb. frame from Bridgeport, CT who attends Notre Dame Catholic. Works from a lean compact frame with room to add strength. Primary left-handed pitcher, starts from the third base side of the rubber and utilizes a full wind-up delivery, releases from a high three-quarters slot. Located his mix well, fastball showed some run and topped out at 75 mph, attacked hitters early on and produced several swings and misses. Mixed in a well-tunneled changeup and a more traditional curveball, has a feel for throwing both pitches. Secondary first baseman, stays fairly light on the feet and works into a hunched-over stance. Displayed smooth glove actions with some quickness in the turns, arm action is a bit stiff, delivered accurate throws, recorded arm strength up to 71 mph across the diamond. Left-handed hitter, starts in a wider open base with a high back elbow, utilizes a toe-tap trigger and flat hand path. Gets handsy at times, produced soft liners to the pull-side when timed up, recorded an exit velocity of 71 mph. Ran a 7.50 sixty-yard dash. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
