Patrick Bromund is a 2027 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-9 133 lb. frame from Queen Creek, AZ who attends Higley. Features a lean, medium build with room to add. Ran a 7.93 60-yard dash. Worked out in the outfield and at first base. Displayed sound fundamentals during outfield workouts. Creates momentum into accurate throws. Loose arm action creates solid carry on throws, reaching 77 mph during workouts. Athleticism works well at first base. Showed the ability to make the routine play consistently. Arm strength and accuracy play well at the spot. Left-handed hitter. Utilizes a slightly open stance. Creates quality rhythm using big leg lift timing mechanism. Showed feel for the barrel with intriguing power potential. Approach allows for the entire field to be used. Left-handed pitcher. Maintains body control well throughout tall and fall mechanics down the mound. Throws from a 3/4 slot using a short arm action. Fastball got up to 74 mph with slight armside run. Pairs it with a curveball at 60-62 mph showing slurve action. Can create some downward movement when spun well. Still developing consistent feel and command of both offerings.
