Maddox Garza is a 2027 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Bakersfield, CA who attends Bakersfield Christian. Features a tall, lean build with room to add. Primary left-handed pitcher. Athleticism plays down the mound. Showed a repeatable delivery with a clean arm action. Throws from an overhead slot. Fastball sat 70-73 mph with some ride through the zone. Can get on hitters at times. Showed ability to land short curveball. Has feel for an upper-60’s changeup as well. Consistently throws all three offerings for strikes. Also worked out in the outfield and at first base. Displayed sound fundamentals with quality glove actions at both spots. Produced accurate double play feeds at first base. Arm strength played in the outfield, reaching 73 mph during workouts. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a wide base stance. Shows solid bat speed with the ability to lift balls often. Showcased solid power to the pullside gap. More likely to come. Ran an 8.04 60-yard dash. Excellent student. Named to the 13u/14u Northern California Showcase Top Prospect List.
