2022 Fall Connecticut Showcase
Jasper Davis is a 2024 OF/1B/3B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Sleepy Hollow, NY who attends Sleepy Hollow. Davis works from a broad athletic looking build with strength throughout. From his primary OF spot, he showcased an aggressive approach with a full arm action and lower slot ultimately topping out at 65 mph. As the footwork refines, expect accuracy and velocity to improve. From the IF, Davis again worked through the ball with a compact release across the diamond up to 68 mph. Offensively, the righty started from an even balanced stance with evident bat speed and effort in the stroke to generate line drives with carry gap to gap. Davis swings a heavy barrel with ability to do damage when timed up, posting an exit velo of 77 mph. Ran a 7.65 sixty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
