2023 Iowa Blitz Fastpitch Combine
Offense- Left handed hitter with a strong build. Very balanced swing and sprays the ball well to all fields. Has above average pop with potential for next level power. Solid swing foundation.
Defensive - The first baseman has a solid defensive stance and plays the position well. She will only get better as she matures and gains experience.
Pitching- Left handed pitcher who throws a fastball, change-up, dropball, and riseball. Threw low to mid 50’s. Has a solid motion mechanically but needs to work on more violence in her release. Seems very controlled and tight, which affects her velocity. Throws a circle change-up, which she did a great job of keeping it lower in the zone. She throws a peel drop and when she stayed tall, it was a good pitch. Riseball was essentially a high fastball at this point. Needs to continue to work on her spin direction and tightness to get it to break up.
