Brody Chapman is a 2028 3B/RHP, C, SS, OF with a 5-6 100 lb. frame from Deer Park, WA who attends Deer Park. A compact frame with a lean build. Room to keep adding strength and fill out moving forward. Ran a 9.10 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman with aggressive actions, showing intent. Made accurate throws across the infield. Hands were softer with an advanced feel for the glove to make good digs and come up with the ball. Projectable actions shown. Also worked out as a catcher. Showed off a shorter arm action, getting a compact arm stroke to get rid of the ball quickly as he worked through the throws down to second. A right-handed hitter with hands that start lower with a lower back elbow. Has a big load that sends the hands up, closes off the front side, and then strides forward with a very large step. He stays on track with the ball and was able to drive the ball to the opposite field. Room to keep improving with added strength. Took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher with a fundamental delivery out of the stretch. Lower to the belt with a moderate leg kick as his lower half moves down the mound. Works from a higher three-quarters arm slot. Showed a baseball that he was able to control during his outing. He flashed an 11-5 breaking curveball in the mix as well. Actions and pitch mix project as he continues to fill out and add strength. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
