Dylan Nelson is a 2025 RHP/SS with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Canby, OR who attends Canby. Medium size, slender frame. Ran a 7.76 60-yard dash. Primary right handed pitcher with a projectable pitching frame. Some controllable movements in the delivery with drop and drive mechanics and a high three-quarter arm slot. Fastball/curveball on the mound with a low 70's fastball that had some arm side run and an 11-5 shape curve with shorter depth. Also worked out in the infield with developing footwork to the baseball and some accuracy throwing across. Hit from an even base at the plate, takes a direct hand path and and linear bat path through the zone, limited connectivity to backside rotation but showed the ability to get to the barrel some in his round of BP. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
