Luke Falgout is a 2025 C/ with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Lafayette, LA who attends Ascension Episcopal School. He ran a 7.40 sixty yard dash. Primary catcher Luke showed a long lean athletic build with more additional strength to come. Very low set at the start he gains plenty of ground towards second with a ton of aggressiveness in the lower half. The transfers were smooth and fluid as he produced very accurate throws on a long hop to second base. He worked with a higher compact arm slot with some quickness in the shoulder. Right hander hitter starts with a mid set base and a toe tap trigger. The hands start further back and rotate into slot in the load. The hands showed some quickness through the zone as he showed a pull side approach with some strength to the pull side as well. Luke is an excellent student.
