Jack Mariani is a 2027 RHP/3B, OF with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from New Fairfield, CT who attends New Fairfield. Medium frame with good length and size that can project going forward. Ran a 8.25 in the 60-yard dash. Right-handed pitcher, stretch exclusive with hands at the belt. Controlled compact arm stroke from shorter arm action and three-quarter slot, hides well through the back. Pitches well to contact. Fastball topped mid-70s with promising feel for a 11-5 breaking ball and changeup. Also showed a strong arm in outfield and infield drills. Funnels well and throws came out well on a line from both spots. Controlled his levers well. Right-handed hitter, even stance and medium base. Stays short to the ball with good intent in the path. Quicker hands and a bit of strength at impact for age. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
