Morgan Jones is a 2026 OF/RHP with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Weddington, NC who attends Weddington High School. Broad shouldered young athletic build with lots of room to fill out and get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow base with a barrel tilt load, long barrel path to the ball, spins off his front side and looks to get the barrel out front and pull the ball, flashes some hand speed, projects to keep improving as he gets stronger and learns how to hit through the ball. 7.50 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, has a full arm action and stays on top of the ball creating some carry and one hop accuracy. Took a turn on the mound, has a slow to fast delivery, arm is loose and smooth coming through. Fastball topped out at 77 mph with some running action. Got on top of his curveball well and showed some depth to the pitch. Good athlete who should keep improving in all areas.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
