Zachary Konrad is a 2024 C/MIF with a 5-8 165 lb. frame from Sugar Grove, IL who attends Kaneland. Compact build with some present strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance and has good direction through contact, short and compact swing, has some strength and quickness in his hands and creates some bat speed, middle of the field line drive contact with some ability to create back spin, nice overall swing mechanics to build from. 7.27 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, has some athleticism and comes out of his crouch well, some arm strength with a long exchange and arm stroke, works hard behind the plate. Also played some in the infield and has the athleticism to play there. Good student.
