LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2023 Great Lakes Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Andrew Schneider is a 2025 1B with a 6-1 230 lb. frame from Valley City, OH who attends Buckeye. Big thick build. At first base, the footwork is quicker than expected with some feel around the bag. The glove secured the routine. The throws were accurate at times with decent zip behind them. At the plate, he sets up in a crouched stance with flat bat over the shoulder. Utilizes a rock back load with a clean bat path. Found it on the barrel often for really hard hit lofted impact. The approach works middle to pull. Could overcome the limited athleticism by just purely mashing. 7.88 60-yard. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
