Jordan Zimmerman is a 2027 2B/RHP, SS with a 5-8 130 lb. frame from Marion, IA who attends Linn-Mar. He has a medium frame with a lean build and plenty of room to fill out as he continues to develop physically. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.58 seconds. Primary second baseman that moves well to both sides of his body. He stays back and plays himself into a good hop. He has clean transfers and will continue to add arm strength as he adds muscle. Secondary right-handed pitcher that works from the third base side of the rubber and features a swinging knee to belt leg kick. He does a nice job of pushing down the mound and lands a little closed off to the hitter, hiding the ball well. He uses a medium arm action and fires from a 3/4 slot. He attacks hitters with his fastball, filling up the zone and primarily working on the outside part of the plate. His curveball is firm with short vertical break. Right-handed hitter that starts in a wider base that is even to the pitcher with high hands and a high back elbow. He uses an aggressive stride forward and does a nice job of transferring his weight through the swing. He showed good hand speed with his swing that allows him to generate nice bat speed through the zone. He has a smooth swing and pairs this with a pull side approach. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
