2023 Northeast Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Marc Russo is a 2025 RHP/2B/OF with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Scranton, PA who attends Holy Cross. Slender young pitcher's build with lots of physical growth and projection ahead. Works from the stretch with a medium length arm action, arm is well timed and works well through release. Adds and subtracts from a fastball that topped out at 80 mph, lots more velocity there, gets lots of run and sink on his fastball, looks like he's throwing 2 seam and 4 seam fastballs with good feel. Power slider was a very good pitch for him, tight spin with good biting action, tunnels his pitches very well. Nice young arm with lots of things to like. 5.12 runner in the forty, worked out in the outfield in drills. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance with an early dive to his front side, hands tend to drag into contact, mid to opposite field contact. Good student. Named to the Northeast Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
