Blake Van Wagenen is a 2027 2B/RHP, SS with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Mount Bethel Christian. Average build with thin levers, developing size and strength for the age. Ran a 7.90 60-yard dash. Primary second baseman, developing lateral ability and range, fields it clean out front, short arm action, arm strength will come with size down the line,. Secondary right-handed pitcher, straddles the slab, big side step sliding pivot to first base side, controlled belt high lift, shorter arm swing to three-quarters slot, got some natural cut on the fastball, low 50's rolling curveball shown. Right-handed hitter, turned front foot, hands by chest with low back elbow, even and squared base, bat wrap, bat stays on shoulder in load, some all fields contact. Will make strides when the strength and size comes into the picture.
