Christopher Utech is a 2024 OF with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Moreland Hills, OH who attends Orange. Utech works from a medium athletic build with additional room to fill out and add strength in the future. He ran an impressive 6.77 sixty yard dash which translated directly to the OF where the righty moved well and worked through the ball with quick fluid transitions. He displayed life in the arm up to 83 mph while also keeping throws low and accurate. Offensively, Utech started from an even balanced stance with whip to the barrel producing consistent line drive contact to all parts of the field. Contact tool is evident with power potential continuing to develop in the future. Great student. Named to Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
