Dominic Debella is a 2024 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from House Springs, MO who attends Northwest. Recorded a 7.96 sixty yard dash time. Medium frame with a sturdy build with some strength. Primary right-handed pitcher, works exclusively from the stretch with a belt high leg lift with drop and dive mechanics and a three- quarter arm slot. Drives off the back leg well with solid arm speed. Fastball was 78-83 and stayed on top of well for a good downhill action. Mixed in a good change-up that he located consistently low in the zone and had some lateral drop. Also showed off a slider with horizontal movement and a sweeping curveball that had some bigger shape moving across the zone. Developing feel for spin but showed four usable pitches. Secondary corner infielder, with a whippy arm and quick arm action with firm throws and accuracy to the bag. Direct footwork to the ball with developing hands. Right-handed hitter, starts with a leg lift trigger and gets weight back and hands deep before striding through the zone. Flashed some feel for the barrel with a pull side approach and some bat speed. Developing connectivity to the back side. Intriguing player with some two-way upside. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
