Gavin Jenkins is a 2027 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-10 172 lb. frame from New Castle, IN who attends Knightstown. Tall, high-waisted frame with plenty of physical projection remaining. Ran a 7.70 in the 60-yard dash. Left-handed pitcher, stretch only delivery and fluid three-quarter release. Fastball has arm-side run with feel for a slider and shorter breaking curveball. Good feel for both and lots to build upon. Also showed a strong arm in outfield and first base drills, good loose arm and quicker turns to the bag. Good on-line throws and works through it well. Left-handed hitter, quick hips rotate well with a strong lower half. Loud barrels to all fields with present strength that can project going forward. Named to Top Prospect list. Excellent student.
