Drew Reese is a 2023 OF/1B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Dyer, IN who attends Lake Central. Large frame with strong, athletic build; ran 40 yard dash in 5.16 seconds. Hits from slightly open stance with flexed knees, high back elbow, good hand speed on more slashier path, stays committed to the middle of the field, can drive it towards oppo gap, hands tends to stay inside, showed flashes of raw power. Primary outfielder, moves well to the ball, fields off to the side and maintains momentum through, clocked up to 76 mph on throws. Also took first base reps, hands work well out front, showed good athleticism working laterally. Good student.
