Giani Castellanos is a 2025 C/2B, SS with a 6-0 148 lb. frame from Chula Vista, CA who attends Mater Dei Catholic. Compact frame with present size to his lower half. Ran a 7.80 in the 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, higher setup with solid momentum in his gather. Good arm strength on a line with accuracy to the bag. Right-handed hitter, wide base and even stance with a high hand set and high back elbow. Leveled barrel path that worked the middle of the field in his round. Hands match plane and stay short to the ball for solid contact. Solid presence on both sides. Very good student.
