Alex Kerr is a 2025 2B/RHP, 3B, MIF, OF with a 5-10 179 lb. frame from Niskayuna, NY who attends Niskayuna. Works from a medium frame with some present athleticism. Primary second baseman, proper prep step and footwork, light on the feet, attacks the ball with urgency, clean funnel, has some lateral range, recorded arm strength up to 80 mph across the diamond. Secondary right-handed pitcher, full wind-up delivery, utilizes a shorter stride, releases from a three-quarters slot, pounded the zone with the fastball, worked all four quadrants, topped it out at 82 mph and showed intriguing spin metrics. Landed sharper slider with good horizontal tilt for strikes. Flashed changeup with fade and some vertical depth to it for swings and misses. Projects well as an arm. Right-handed hitter, starts in a narrow base, hanging leg lift trigger, compact stroke with some present hand speed, rotational lower-half, uses the whole field effectively, good feel for the barrel, recorded an exit velocity of 76 mph. Ran a 7.59 sixty-yard dash. Good student. Named to the Sunshine New York Top Prospect List.
