2022 Summer Northeast Showcase (Wed-Thurs)
Liam Burke is a 2025 RHP/2B/SS/MIF/OF with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Plymouth, MA who attends Plymouth South. Burke falls under the swiss army knife category, providing value at a range of positions over the course of the event. Starting at his primary spot on the bump, he worked with good tempo and rhythm pounding the zone efficiently for strikes. He released from a high 3/4 slot with slight cut on the FB up to 69 mph. Burke mixed a bigger shaped CB as his main off speed selection, picking up strikeouts and sequencing well. From both the OF and IF, Burke displayed a full arm action with the ability to change slots and work through the ball. On the offensive end, the righty started from a compact even stance with consistent contact back up the middle. Expect power to improve as Burke physically matures. Ran a 7.79 sixty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
