Colby Rice is a 2025 3B/RHP/1B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Maple Valley, WA who attends Tahoma Senior. Medium size build. Ran a 7.65 60-yard dash. A two-way talent with some fundamental footwork in the infield, hands working through the baseball, some efficient lateral movements, a clean transfer and developing arm strength. Hit from and even base at the plate, developing balance throughout the swing, gets out on the front side. Direct hand path and a slight uphill bat path with some use of the middle of the field. Showed fastball/curveball on the mound out of a three-quarter arm slot. Up to 81 with the fastball and located it around the zone. Mid 60's curveball with limited depth and some traits to develop going forward. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
