Samuel Hoffman is a 2024 RHP/MIF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Mentor, OH who attends Notre Dame Cathedral Latin. Sturdy build, Delivery builds tempo as he reaches the peak of the kick. The hands stay at core level till they break, fluid arm stroke to a high three-quarters slot. The fastball was spotted up frequently to the gloveside. He sets the hitters eye out away before spinning a tight little breaker in arm side.Offering features 10-4 action with late depth. As he continues to add velocity that should be a premium breaking ball. Defensively, fluid receiver that got to the fielding point on time. Not a ton of lateral quickness, profiles best to a corner. Accurate with carry across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, connected approach with sizable leg kick. Drives the knob well with stand out barrel skills and power to split the gaps in a hurry. Could boost the power further with better utilization of his solid lower half. Great student. 7.80 60-yard. Named to the Top Prospect list.
