Nicholas Zimmerman is a 2024 SS/RHP, MIF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Orland Park, IL who attends Carl Sandburg. Taller, athletic build with strength throughout the frame. Recorded a 7.24 60-yard dash. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wide base, slightly closed and a high back elbow set in the stance. Simple stride into contact gets the swing started, flat barrel path through the zone, shot line drives all over the field. Has strength at impact, recorded an exit velocity of 86 mph. Primary shortstop, step by step movements getting to ground balls, deep funnel, compact arm action to a higher three-quarters release. Limited range laterally, has a strong, accurate arm across. Recorded throws across the infield up to 79 mph. Projects as a corner infielder. Excellent student.
