Shaysen Johnson-Castillo is a 2026 OF/3B with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Haleiwa, HI who attends Kamehameha Schools. Features a medium build with athleticism present. Ran a 7.41 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder. Showcased proper footwork into the catchpoint. Throws with intent using a compact arm path. Reached 75 mph during workouts. Worked out on the infield as well. Range profiles well for a corner spot. Still developing consistent glove actions at both spots. More arm strength should come down the line. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a simple timing mechanism into a balanced swing. Stays connected well on a short path to contact. Showed sound body control well throughout swings. Approach consistently works through the middle of the field. Has solid bat speed present with more power to come as the frame adds more strength. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
