2023 West Coast Prospect Showcase
Colin Robertson is a 2024 C/1B with a sturdy 5-11 185 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Point Loma HS. A primary catcher that plays first base as well. At the plate he starts in a crouched stance and uses a toe-tap-trigger mechanism. Showed the ability to deliver the barrel on time and square it up on a consistent basis in his BP round. Behind the plate he demonstrated good receiving/glove work skills and the feet and hand transfers were quick and on time. Robertson showed off his strong arm and delivered the baseball on the money to second base. Excellent student.
