Rhett Lynch is a 2027 C/RHP, 1B, 3B with a 5-10 198 lb. frame from Bloomington, IL who attends Undecided. Recorded a 5.74 second 40-yard dash time. Big and sturdy frame with present strength. Primary catcher with a high and side straddle set up, gains some forward ground with the footwork but also steps far out into the batter's box. Can improve as he stays more directional and in line with second base. Makes his transfers low and at belt level, gets the ball out of his hand fairly quickly. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a big side step to start the motion, creates good torque with his leg lift. Quick delivery, utilizes a long and in line arm action and comes from a three-quarters slot. Has some present hand quickness. Lands slightly open to the plate. Curveball showed 11-5 shape with solid depth, changeup showed good fade and he can land it for a strike. Right-handed hitter with a wide stance and even base, has a high back elbow set. Has some quickness to the hands and present strength in the swing. Will rush the front foot down at times, showed definite pop when catching it out front. Showed an uphill swing path with a pull side approach. Will continue to improve as develops consistency in his timing and trigger. Made loud contact in game with a pull side double. Named to the 2023 Eastern Iowa Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
