Alex Gonzalez is a 2025 2B/RHP with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from McLean, VA who attends Mclean. Long and lean projectable frame with time to add physicality and the type of body that can handle it. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.14 seconds. Primary middle infielder on defense, has athletic actions with active and quick feet, smooth and fluid through the ball, charges the ball very well, easy arm stroke from all slots, lowers his slot well, stood out in the games defensively. Also plays the outfield with similar skills and athleticism but is more fundamentally sound and more valuable on the dirt. Right handed hitter, has an inconsistent front side load that impacts his timing, swings hard and has some raw bat speed, fine swing once the barrel gets going, works gap to gap and drove the ball hard to the opposite field. Also pitched and has some arm talent, works from a full wind up with a deep and full arm action and a low 3/4's arm slot, gets nice extension out front. Fastball topped out at 83 mph with lots of spin and running life. Curveball has 2500+ rpm's and a big sweeping break. Pitches calm and under control and throws strikes. Offensive improvement will define his ceiling. Good student. Named to the Coastal Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
