2022 13U/14U Fall Atlantic Coast Showcase
Landon Davis is a 2027 SS/RHP/3B with a 5-11 135 lb. frame from Trinity, NC who attends High Point Christian Academy. Tall and slender build. 8.43 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, has step by step action, tends to get his glove down late, gets his feet set to throw, arm works well from a higher release point. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a late leg raise load, will need to learn to get his front foot down sooner for more consistency in his swing. Also pitched, starts with a high leg lift with good balance and hip turn over the rubber, high 3/4's arm slot, works down the mound well, some ability to repeat his mechanics and throw strikes. Fastball worked in the upper 60's and topped out at 70 mph, gets nice tailing action at times. Slider was an effective second pitch with good shape and consistent location.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
