Nick Jenkins is a 2027 C/IF with a 5-7 165 lb. frame from Shawnee, KS who attends Mill Valley. Medium, square shouldered frame with some present physical strength proportioned throughout. Ran a 7.53 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, higher set up behind the plate during drills, wider base but shows quickness to feet, accuracy throws with firm carry to second base, makings of arm quickness and strength will continue to develop. Longer arm action on throws across the infield, shows some present carry and is accuracy, actions play well at a corner spot. Right-handed hitter, begins with a spread stance and a lower hand set; gathers weight on backside, upper body dominant with pre-pitch movement to hands, Works on a linear path through the zone, short finish through contact. Handsy stroke, shows some jump off of the barrel when squared, conected for a double down the pull side line in live action.
