LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2023 Jr. National Showcase
Austin Musso is a 2025 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Mascoutah, IL who attends Mascoutah HS. Recorded a 7.15 second 60-yard dash time. Lean and projectable frame with lots of room to fill out. Primary right-handed pitcher with a short turn step into a leg lift at the belt. Compact and clean arm swing with a shorter stride down the mound. Gets over the front side well and can command the fastball to both halves of the plate. Low effort and tension free with good repeatability. Good feel for the breaking ball and can induce swings and misses with the pitch. Arm strength played from secondary position of the infield. Right-handed hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and a linear path. Good leverage to the swing and can create contact to the pull side. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
