Nicholas Danieli is a 2027 3B/RHP with a 5-10 178 lb. frame from Verona, NJ who attends Verona. Medium, high waisted frame with plenty of room to fill out. Recorded a 9.09 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary third baseman with a developing defensive skill set. Incorporates deliberate footwork throughout the fielding process, a clean funnel out in-front and limited range to either side. Works through the baseball with some extra steps and worked into a three-quarters arm slot. Recorded developing arm strength up to 72 mph across the diamond during drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked from a full windup delivery. Incorporates slightly higher leg lift into balance and drop/drive lower half mechanics down the slope. Displayed shorter stride out to foot strike and worked his way into a loose three-quarters arm slot. Fastball only in this look, worked in the upper-60s for the majority of his outing and topped out at 70 mph. Developing command of the strike zone and will need to develop secondary offering to expand pitching repertoire. Right-handed hitter that hits from a narrow, upright stance with a low, flatter hand start and hover trigger for timing. Developing bat-to-ball skills with downhill swing plane. Middle-of-the field approach with best impact to the pullside when on-time, will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength.
