Ryland Reid is a 2024 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Prosper, TX who attends Prosper. Posted a 7.94 in the 60. Primary RHP is a developing build with some athleticism to build on. Simple operation should continue to refine, has a feel to pitch with plenty left to see. Topped the fastball at 75 mixing an effective breaking ball with late bite that disrupted timing at the plate, and flashed the change up with some feel and fade action. The arsenal should progress smoothly as arm develops. In the infield the actions are young, simple approach and glove skill working through plays in the corners. Some moving parts in the swing from the right side of the plate, has timing to establish as he syncs up the process. Mostly level plane through the zone and rotational swing should smooth out and showed intent in the swing. Has time to advance the tools to the next level as he matures. Good student.
