2022 National Academic Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Max Lipe is a 2023 SS/2B, 3B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from St. Louis, MO who attends St. Louis Priory. Max has an average build and frame. Lipe has some fielding fundamentals that could use some attention to smooth out and make a bit more conventional. His athleticism will allow him to adapt easily and potentially quickly to make big improvements and gains. Max has a bit of a loopy swing and gets uphill on his bat path through the zone. Max's frame will allow for added strength and that will be a big asset for him to continue his development. Max is a great student in the classroom.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
