2023 WWBA Summer Workout Showcase (July 12)  
Ayden Ascher is a 2027 C/1B, IF, OF, UT with a 5-4 150 lb. frame from Waban, MA who attends Needham. Primary catcher with a young build that will continue to fill out as he grows and matures. Ran a 8.64 second sixty. Starts in a higher set position behind the dish coming to get the ball as he receives it away from the body while gaining ground into the throws with developing footwork. Throws come from a short arm action with developing arm strength on the accurate throws. Right-handed hitters start with an even base and low back elbow. Has young bat speed getting to contact with the weight still on the back side as he gets through the hitting zone with some loft to the bat path. Excellent student.
