Kristopher Muccilli is a 2008 RHP/2B with a 5'10'', 165 lb. frame from Mississauga, ON who attends St. Martin SS. He has a medium frame with some present upper body strength. Muccilli throws from a back turn delivery with a long extended arm stroke that comes through to a high 3/4's release point. His arm works well and he has a nice downhill angle to the plate. Muccilli hides the ball well in his delivery and his 82-84 mph fastball looks faster than the radar gun says it is. Muccilli's breaking ball is a 71 mph slurve type curveball that has a big sweeping break. His arm action and release would be conducive to a slider. We didn't see a change up. Muccilli had good command of his pitches and pitched aggressively. He plays second base when not pitching and used his strength well with the bat. He has an aggressive swing with some bat speed and hit the ball hard to the middle of the field and to right center.
