Alexander Menth is a 2025 LHP/OF with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Minneapolis, MN who attends Minneapolis South. Tall lean projectable left hander that turns the heel to a smaller lift. The arm stroke is fluid with a slight pause in the back. The release comes out of a low three-quarters slot. Fastball plays pretty true with subtle cut occasionally. Commanded it well with conviction to the gloveside. Breaking ball was round with ample depth to induce whiffs and weak contact. There’s a really quality groundwork for future success with the operation and frame that he brings to the hill. In the outfield, he waits back to reception with a glove that fields off to the side of the frame. The arm swing is moderate and produces strong throws with decent downhill carry to the bases. At the plate, he sets up with wide base and high back elbow. He swings it hard utilizing a striding load. There was some timing issues present but the ball jumped off the barrel in the air to the pull side when timed up. Hammered mulipe balls that way throughout the course of the round. The strength is apparent and with improved barrel consitency he could be very solid piece at the dish.5.31 40-yard. Excellent student. Named to the Top Prospect list.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
