Gavin Hamilton is a 2027 OF/RHP/C with a lean, athletic, high waisted 6-0 165 lb. frame from Chandler, AZ who attends Basha. Started off the event clocking a 7.44 60-yard dash. Defenensively, Hamilton took an aggressive approach in the outfield working through the baseball with confidence. Has present arm strength demonstrating he could one-hop the mitt consistently and with accuracy and zip. Showed solid fundamentals and actions in the infield as well demonstrating he can make all the plays and throws required. At the plate, he shows a simple, compact swing with some pull side pop. Uses his lower half well indicating that there may be power to come. On the mound, he features a 2-pitch mix (FB, SL) out of a 3/4 slot. Shows a longer arm path. Uses a hesitation at the top of his windup trying to add to the deception in the delivery. A strike thrower with the ability to land his secondaries, and he worked consistently around the zone in game-play. There is all-around potential here. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
