Tyler Putnam is a 2026 RHP/MIF with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Columbia, MO who attends Battle. Tall projectable frame. Ran a 7.19 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher with a fluid athletic delivery, high three-quarter arm slot and two quality offerings. Works downhill with the fastball and gets some extension out front on the pitch that topped at 87 and showed deceptive carry up in the zone. Breaking ball showed 2-plane break, at times with slurvy action and others sharp horizontal bite. Shows some feel for setting up hitters and utilizing the breaking ball as a swing and miss out pitch. Also worked out in the infield showing developing fundamental and a big arm, throwing 88 across the diamond. Hit from an even base with load stride timing, pull side approach with some barrel speed and leverage when he stays balanced. Named to Sunshine Midwest Top Prospect List. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
