Chandler Smith is a 2027 OF/RHP with a 5-6 150 lb. frame from Vidalia, GA who attends Vidalia Comprehensive. Recorded a 7.74 second 60-yard dash time. Primary outfielder with a young frame and athletic build. Fundamental actions moving around to gather with clean exchange and long arm swing to lower 3/4 arm slot on throws to the bases at 65 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a rhythmic delivery from a middle of the slab start. Raises the hands away from body to head with side step and high front side getting down the slope. Full arm swing behind to a 3/4 arm slot release. Fluid operation with fastball up to 64 mph (1307 RPM) and breaking ball at 54 mph (1447 RPM). Right-handed hitter with an even base and slightly open stance in the box. Feel for the barrel with some rhythm in the hands and short stride into contact. Middle-field approach with linear barrel path through the zone and high finish. Solid setup and swing with increased impact as he matures into young frame. Excellent student.
