Nic Stutzman is a 2026 SS/RHP with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Mount Holly, NC who attends Stuart W. Cramer. Recorded a 7.02 second 60-yard dash time. Primary shortstop with a lean athletic build and projectable frame to fill. Two-hand funnel out front with clean exchange on the infield. Works through the ball with accurate throws across the diamond at 85 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a coiled belt-high lift and slightly closed landing down the slope. Full arm swing to 3/4 arm slot delivery running the fastball up to 85 mph (2261 RPM) with arm side run. Curveball at 70 mph (2301 RPM) with solid 11/5 depth when he gets over the front side. Flashed a changeup in the low-70s for a solid three-pitch mix and the ability to land all three for strikes. Right-handed hitter with an even base and high hands setup in the box. Short stride turning the barrel over with backside release through the zone. Impact out front with some pop to the pull side at extension. Excellent student. Named to the National Academic Showcase (Tues/Wed) Top Prospect List.
