Aidan McCallister is a 2024 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-0 174 lb. frame from Grand Cayman, GT who attends Cayman International School. Medium, square shouldered frame with present strength proportioned throughout, long limbs, some room to fill. Ran an 8.10 60-yard dash. Simple delivery on the mound with limited moving parts, leg lift up to belt at start with hip turn, long arm action through the back with a tighter release. Fastball topped out at 72 mph, mostly true in life with some angle created given his release point Shorter curveball with downer shape to it, occasionally mistimed at release, up to 62 mph. Gets the glove out early at first base, plays tall to the ball and gets low behind it, similar shorter arm action with arm strength that'll continue to develop. Left-handed hitter, begins with a wide base and a high hand set and back elbow in the box. Swings with intent and keeps hands in tight throughout swing, full swing path through the zone and looks to lift at the point of contact. Utilizes a short leg lift trigger for timing, abbreviated finish to swing. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
