2022 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
Alexander Tassopoulos is a 2025 SS/RHP/1B/IF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Stouffville, ON who attends Bill Crothers. Tassopoulos works from an athletic build with additional room to fill out and add strength in the future. From his primary IF spot, he showcased lateral range with decent hands as well as the ability to receive out in front ultimately topping out at 75 mph across the diamond. As Tassopoulos continues to physically develop, expect the footwork to refine. On the offensive end, the left handed hitter started from a slightly open stance with some hover to the leg trigger and a high hand set attempting to generate contact to all parts of the field. He has room to shorten the stroke and further incorporate the lower half, posting an exit velo of 76 mph. Ran a 7.47 sixty yard dash.
