2022 PG CPBL Fall Prospect Games
Elliot Backer is a 2025 2B/RHP with a 5-7 117 lb. frame from Aurora, ON. Features a smaller, wiry build. Ran a 7.95 60-yard dash. Primary infielder. Can make the routine play. Still developing fluidity to the footwork and body control throughout. More arm strength should come as the frame gets stronger. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes an even base with an upright stance. Swings on a linear path. Has some feel for the barrel present. Should play more often as timing consistency develops further. Right-handed pitcher. Uses tall and fall mechanics into a short side down the mound. Throws from a high 3/4 slot using a short arm action. Fastball sat 62-65 mph. Pairs it with a fading changeup at 58-60 mph. Shows confidence in the offering. Still refining consistent command.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
