Hunter Vigil is a 2024 MIF/RHP with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from La Verne, CA who attends La Salle. Features a slender build with room to add. Ran a 7.07 60-yard dash. Primary infielder. Moves well laterally. Solid footwork allows for good range in both directions. Caught the ball cleanly using smooth hands. Was accurate with throws across the diamond. Threw 72 mph during workouts. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a slightly open stance with a small leg kick timing mechanism. Showed ability to get the bat head out front. Still developing consistent balance within the swing. Line drive approach stays through the middle of the field. More power should come as the frame gets stronger. Right-handed pitcher. Throws exclusively out of the stretch. Uses a small leg kick into tall and fall mechanics down the mound. Throws from a high 3/4 arm slot using a short arm action. The fastball sat 73-77 mph with slight armside run. Offering was effective at the bottom of the zone. Showed ability to spin mid-60’s curveball well. Creates tight, sweeping action at its best. Projectable arm. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
