James Brandi is a 2026 C/1B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Glastonbury, CT who attends Glastonbury. Recorded a 7.31 60-yard dash. Primary catcher with a medium build. Starts from a staggered stance behind the plate. Employs a methodical gather and a shorter arm action through the back. Good intent and solid athleticism. Right-handed hitter and starts from a moderately wide base with even feet and a high hand set. Keeps the hands inside the ball and swing stays on an uphill path through the zone. Longer swing path and worked to elevate the ball, using primarily the pull side during the round. Great student.
