2022 Sunshine Rocky Mountain Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Ty Griffith is a 2023 C/3B with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Brush, CO. Medium frame with a stronger compact build. Ran a 7.18 second 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, slightly turned setup and works quick out of the crouch, gains good ground working through the ball, some inconsistency in the transfer but makes up for it with a strong arm with good carry and accuracy. Righthanded hitter, even base and moves in well, short swing with good bat speed already, works the barrel out well and has really strength behind it, big extension through finish and able to adjust well enough to get to strength often. Translated to game action as he sent a no-doubt shot out to the pull side. Great student. Named to 2022 Sunshine Rocky Mountain Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
