John (Jack) Rubocki is a 2024 MIF/RHP with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Boise, ID who attends Bishop Kelly. Lean athletic build. Ran the 60-yard dash in 8.01 seconds. Primary middle infielder, worked through the ball with soft hands, had a tendency to get the glove down late. Has a quick transfer and release, made accurate throws but is still developing the arm strength. On the mound, threw a lot of strikes and attacked hitters early. The fastball sat 68-70 mph, located it well to both sides of the plate generating a lot of swing and misses. Pared the fastball with a tight spin late breaking 12/6 curveball that sta 61 mph. At the plate, hits from a slightly open stance with a leg kick trigger, has a long soft swing, consistently made contact to his pull side. Still developing strength but will continue to as he gets older. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
