Daggu Rana is a 2027 SS/RHP with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from McLean, VA. A compact frame and medium build with some athleticism showing. Ran a 7.93 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder who showed off good footwork working through his round of throws as an infielder. He gets to it well and was able to make accurate throws across the infield at 84 mph to first. Settled in with the glovework and funneled through the motion after getting himself in position well with good angles. Also worked out as an outfielder with a quick arm and lower throws at 84 mph from the outfield as well. He had a big gather into a longer release, showing off a lengthy arm stroke. Had quickness and whip-to-the-arm action though. Fielded it out front and funneled it into throws. He's a right-handed hitter with an athletic setup and looks in the batter's box. He had a wider base with medium-set hands and was able to find the barrel during his round of BP swings toward the end. Hit well in-game, adding 3 hits to his credit during games. Also took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher who had a leg lift up around the belt, pitching from a three-quarters arm slot, dropping to more lower three-quarters at times. He hides the ball well thru the back and created some good arm-side life to it, commanding the pitch well up to 84 mph. He was able to get in glove-side with the pitch, commanding the zone. He showed a curveball with 11/5 shape to it. Settled in well during his outing. He added a punchout over 1.2 innings of hitless work.
